As we reported a short while ago on the F.R.A. Facebook page, Luc Dionis was the first to benefit from a F.R.A. membership for the year. In fact, he's taking advantage of the recent collaboration between F.R.A. and Starboard France, which allows any buyer in France of a Raceboard from the Starboard catalog to benefit from a free membership.

Luc is based in the Hauts de France region and plays for Olympique Grande Synthe.

Luc, did you discover this offer unexpectedly?

I must admit, the HOTMER store in Villeneuve d'Ascq had warned me about this partnership between FRA and Starboard. This is my second purchase at HOTMER:
in March 2017 a 377L and I ordered in September the 2018 model delivered on 17/01/2018.
I also took advantage of FRA membership benefits to buy a KONIG cover, also a FRA partner.
What are you planning for your boarding this year?
For my 2018 practice, regattas yes of course, regional in the Hauts de France and if my schedule allows a few trips to championships.
Any messages you'd like to pass on?
I've also recently discovered the technical tips on the new F.R.A. site (very well done), posts or recent articles (well done to the webmaster!).
A nice surprise on the site with the article by Planchemag, it's about time! It seems that the word raceboard has been lost on our journalist friends in this so-called specialized press.
As a reminder, since the early 90's raceboarding has had its ups and downs, but it's still standing.
Thank you PLANCHEMAG for this article and look forward to the next ones!
Brands are also starting to offer us cool products that are "almost" reasonable in price, which is a step in the right direction.
